When Optanix first set out to provide a managed service, our founders and earliest employees knew from past experience that existing IT monitoring and management platforms left much to be desired – so they decided to build their own. Their goal was to address the top two platform pain points they had experienced in the past:

  • Frequently, 3-4 or more platforms with similar but different feature sets would be required to provide effective service
  • Those multiple platforms all employed “sliding window” architectures that generated tidal waves of events whenever a service issue occurred
